So for those of you that have been following this blog I thank you. Since my last pup died due to nutrient burn (I was unaware the soil had nutrients) I'll be starting over again.
I have 2 seeds now germinating and will start posting about their progress very soon. I'm considering deleting my previous posts as not to make it too confusing.
The videos and information posted are not necessarily that of the user, nor are they current. All grows are in compliance with California Prop 215 and SB420.

Day 9 - Byebye Baby
So since my last post things have only gotten worse and it was obviously dying off. I finally got some proper advice and it turns out it was all due to nutrient burn. I double checked my soil packet and in the fine print it does mention nutrients - SHIT!
So I quickly dug up some plain ol' soil from my yard, it's rather dry and fine. I dug up my sick lil guy and carefully replanted him in the soil, I don't have high hopes but fingers crossed he somehow makes a recovery.
I watered the new soil and placed him in the dark for a few hours, when I checked on it again it was pretty close to being completely dead :(
I've started to germinate another seed just incase this one doesn't make it, which is going to put my blog behind for a little while.

Day 8 - Oh noes!
A second post for the day with a quick update.
Just took a peak at the little guy after about 5 hours and I've noticed a little yellowing of the two tiny leaves.
It's my understanding this can be caused by either a PH imbalance, nutrient burn or over-watering. My guess is over-watering however I've posted on a few websites seeking advice.

Day 8 - Yay, pictures!
So after a few days of no updates and no access to a camera, I've finally found the time to post updates for the past few days that I missed and also snapped a few new pictures.
Not too much has happened over the last few days really, once it sprouted it doesn't seem to be growing any higher and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
It has been on 24hour light at the moment however I'm considering switching it to 18/6, any advice on that would be great!

Day 7 - Com'on you bastard, grow!
This is a pre-dated post because I've had so much going on I haven't had the chance to post in a few days, sorry about that fellow bloggers.
I checked on my lil green baby sprout again today, not much change in growth but the leaves have definitely perked up and are looking great, they're really loving the light they're getting.
I'm trying to only water them once a day till there's the tiniest amount of run-off. Sometimes I end up watering it twice a day though because it seems the light drys them out a fair bit, even though they don't emit much heat.
Again, no picture today, sorry folks~

Day 6 - It's ALIVE!
This is a pre-dated post because I've had so much going on I haven't had the chance to post in a few days, sorry about that fellow bloggers.
Well today I woke up, sprung to my feet and ran to check up on my little guy.
Amazing! He has already grown so much overnight, it's about 1-2cm tall from the soil.
Sorry, no picture for this day

Day 5 - Touch Down!
So today was an average day.. woke up.. cooked omelette for the girlfriend.. we went for a cruise on the motorbike.. came home to relax, cooked up a feast and then decided to check my brown baby.
This crazy girl sure did grow quite a bit! It hit the fold of the paper-towel and also started to grow under a layer of paper-towel, so I don't think it'll be growing any more in length, also the seed has opened up quite a lot.
Now is the time to plant this lil sucker!
I grabbed a pair of scissors and cut around it as it had grown under the paper-towel, I pulled away as much paper-towel as possible, though I left a tiny bit on there - didn't want to risk hurting the root while removing that tiny bit of paper-towel.
I got my container filled with Gardener's Choice Potting Mix, dug a whole deep enough to swallow up this root and placed my baby in there, leaving only the seed above the dirt.
I've now placed my container back in a dark box and will check them tomorrow.

Day 4 - You're soooooo big
Didn't bother to check my lil gem till later on in the day at which stage I was actually surprised to see that the taproot had doubled in length, very nice!
I'm going to wait another day or two before I plant it, I feel it's 2/3 of what it should be, so we're getting close.
I'd love to hear some feedback/advice in the comments.

Day 3 - Hello there..
My baby has finally shown it's little face and decided to come say "hi".
I'm going to wait a little longer before I plant her, perhaps double the length of what it is now... though I'm open to suggestions - leave a comment :)

Day 2 - Cracked
Checked my lil seed baby early this morning, the seed has cracked open and you can see it's guts.
I'm going to give it a little longer before I decide to plant it.

Day 1 - Germination
Decided to use the paper-towel method.
Placed a seed in a damp paper-towel and left in a dark place overnight, will check it tomorrow.

Welcome
Ahoy fellow cyberweb users, welcome to my fantabulous blog about none other than.. medical marijuana!
A few years ago I was in a car accident which left me with a punctured hip, I'm now fine but am in constant pain all hours of the day. Before the accident I had never touched marijuana in my life, but after extensive discussions with my doctor I decided to give it a try - I haven't looked back since.
Marijuana has changed my life for the better, I'm now able to work without having to constantly pop pain-killers that are doing god knows what to my body & brain.
I decided to start growing my own herb to support my medical needs and save a bit of cash. I picked up some seeds from a dispensary in San Francisco, they're only cheap bag seeds so I'm unsure of the strain.
Follow me on a magical journey through time and space while I explore my green thumb.
